On the morning of April 10th, the Liyang Zhongguancun Science and Technology Innovation Base project undertaken by Zhengfangyuan was filled with colorful smoke and guests. The annual China·Liyang Tea Festival and Tianmu Lake Tourism Festival opened here. This is the first public appearance of the project after the completion pre-acceptance, marking the successful conclusion of the 332-day "construction period battle" of Zhengfang Garden.
Liyang Zhongguancun Science and Technology Innovation Industrial Park is located on the west side of Pingling West Road and the east side of Zhongguancun Avenue in Liyang City, Jiangsu Province. Ecological concepts and technologies create a high-quality scientific and technological innovation space with comprehensive functions and rich experience. After completion, it will become a new office and scientific research place for the Yangtze River Delta Research Center of the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Sino-British Electric Vehicle Joint Innovation Center.
The total construction area of the project is 73,268㎡, of which the above-ground construction area is 56,869㎡, and the underground construction area is 16,388㎡. The construction officially started on May 10, 2020. The foundation floor and basement construction will be completed from July to September, and the main structure construction will be completed on December 4. , The completion pre-acceptance will be completed on April 7, 2021. The actual construction period is 332 days, which is nearly 6 months ahead of the contract period.
According to the project manager, the construction of the science and technology innovation base project started during the epidemic, and then experienced a rare rainy, high-temperature alternate summer, extremely cold winter, poor outdoor construction conditions, and difficulty in advancing the construction progress on site. At the same time, the project has many specialties and complicated procedures, some procedures need to be inserted in advance, and the planning and coordination workload is heavy. Some construction drawings are lagging behind, there is no time for normal drawing digestion, material procurement, processing, stocking, etc., and there is no time for overall planning and cross-operation of normal processes.
"However, no matter how many difficulties there are in the progress of the project, we will actively cooperate with the construction unit, supervision unit and related units, and actively take all necessary measures to overcome all difficulties and ensure the achievement of the target tasks of the construction period."

Facing the unconventional and tight construction schedule, the project department insisted on "adding equipment if there is not enough equipment, and adding people if there is not enough personnel", reversed the plan, recruited enough personnel, and advanced in an all-round way, arranged two shifts of operators on site, and worked continuously around the clock , There are 700-800 on-site laborers at the peak. In the stage of decoration and decoration, the on-site operation force was increased at all costs. "There are not enough green workers, so they are transferred from other places. If there is no place to live, all of them are arranged to live in hotels. In short, regardless of cost, the progress is guaranteed."
The earth does not stop, the construction site does not stop
In August 2020, Liyang encountered a rare high temperature weather. At ten o'clock in the morning, the temperature had reached 45 degrees. The science and technology innovation base project is in the basic stage, and the scorching sun in the foundation pit is unobstructed. Under such circumstances, the operators still bite the bullet and take turns to fight in high temperature. "The construction site is preparing to learn about summer tea soup and medicine. People often take the medicine and then go to work right away..."
During the Spring Festival of 2021, the construction of the project has reached the decoration stage, which is the final stage of the construction period. According to the requirements of the government department on epidemic prevention and control at that time, combined with the actual situation of the project, the project department launched a call for "non-stop work during the Spring Festival and work overtime to catch up with the construction period". More than half of the people took the initiative to stay. I had a New Year's Eve dinner at home, and spent the rest of the time working on projects.

After more than 2,000 Zhengfangyuan Iron Army and 332 days of hard work day and night, on April 7, 2021, the science and technology innovation base project successfully passed the completion pre-acceptance, and the "construction period battle" came to a successful conclusion!
