With the coming of June, Zhengfang Garden has officially entered the annual "Safe Production Month", and various safety-related activities come and go. On June 4, an emergency rescue drill for electric shock accidents was staged in the Phase II renovation and expansion project of the psychiatric ward building of Wuxi Mental Health Center. Pu Qingwei, manager of the company's safety supervision department, organized a drill on the spot. All members of the emergency rescue command team of the project department of the Jingwei Center participated. A total of more than 50 people from carpentry, steel bar workers, and electromechanical installation teams observed and emulated the site.
"I solemnly swear: keep in mind the safety mission, stick to the safety red line, eliminate safety hazards, and perform safety duties..." The drill kicked off amidst a solemn oath. Under the leadership of the department manager Pu Qingwei, he shouted the oath of "safety". For a moment, the powerful sound of oath covered the roar of construction machinery and became the "strongest voice" floating on the scene.
Afterwards, a lively on-site public class officially started at the drill site. Pu Qingwei invited the safety officer to demonstrate on-site, and at the same time introduced the characteristics and handling methods of electric shock accidents in detail. The close-range on-site demonstration and detailed introduction gave everyone present a new understanding of "electric shock accidents".
At 3 o'clock in the afternoon, the drill officially started. Following Manager Pu's announcement of "the drill begins", the on-site drill staff immediately started to act. Soon, a simulated accident occurred. A worker (dummy) accidentally touched the broken copper core of the wire when putting the cable in the third-level box, resulting in an electric shock and fell to the scene.
The warehouse manager of the project department, who was arranging materials on the side, saw it and immediately shouted, "Come on, someone has fallen!"
After hearing the cry for help, the safety officer rushed to the scene and pulled the cable away from the human body two meters away. After hearing the news, the electrician rushed to the secondary box, quickly pulled down the switch, and started artificial respiration for the electrocuted person. The security officer immediately called the project manager to report the accident. After receiving the notification, the project manager immediately launched the emergency rescue plan for the accident. Subsequently, the communication team, ambulance team, security team, and stretcher team rushed to the scene of the accident and started operations.
After checking the injury, the ambulance team decided to use a defibrillator to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the injured. After several minutes of rescue, the wounded's breathing and pulse were restored. Finally, the stretcher team carried the wounded to the 120 ambulance, and the emergency rescue drill ended successfully.
The emergency rescue drill for electric shock accidents officially launched the first shot of Zhengfangyuan Group's 2021 "Safety Production Month" activities. The common sense of emergency rescue of electric shock accidents plays a significant role in improving the awareness of risk prevention and the ability of self-rescue and mutual rescue.
